Overview
CNC machining removes material from a solid block to produce accurate, strong parts in production-grade metals and plastics. It is the default choice for functional prototypes, precision components and low-to-medium volume production.
We review your drawings for manufacturability, select a machining supplier suited to the part size, tolerance and material, and manage finishing, inspection and delivery.
What We Can Make
- Milled parts — housings, plates, brackets, heat sinks
- Turned parts — shafts, bushings, pins, fittings
- Multi-axis parts — complex geometries in fewer setups
- Enclosures for electronics and instruments
- Robot structural parts — joints, arms, frames
- Fixtures and tooling components
Materials
| Group | Commonly specified grades |
|---|---|
| Aluminum | 6061, 6063, 7075, 5052, 2024 |
| Stainless steel | 303, 304, 316, 17-4PH |
| Steel | 1045, 4140, Q235, tool steels |
| Copper alloys | Brass (C360), copper (C110) |
| Titanium | Grade 2, Grade 5 (Ti6Al4V) |
| Plastics | POM (Delrin), ABS, PC, PA, PEEK, PTFE, PMMA, UHMW-PE |
Equivalent Chinese material standards (GB) are cross-referenced to your specification. Material certificates can be requested per project.
Manufacturing Process
- Drawing & DFM review — tolerances, threads, internal radii, tool access, cost drivers.
- Quotation — per-part price at your quantities, finishing options and lead time.
- Material sourcing to the specified grade.
- Machining — milling, turning or multi-axis as required.
- Finishing — deburring, anodizing, plating, passivation, powder coating, polishing.
- Inspection, packing and shipping.
Applications
- Robotics and automation components
- Industrial equipment and machine parts
- Electronics enclosures and heat sinks
- Automotive aftermarket and test parts
- Sports and outdoor equipment components
- Prototype parts that must match production material
Quality Control
Quality checks are agreed before production starts and tied to your drawing, sample or specification — not to a generic checklist.
- Drawing review and agreement on critical dimensions (CTQs) before machining
- First-article inspection before batch production
- Dimensional reports for critical features
- Finish and cosmetic check against approved samples
- Packing check to prevent transit damage
See how we approach inspection across all projects on our quality control overview.
Customization
- Anodizing (clear, black, colors), hard anodizing
- Plating (nickel, zinc, chrome), passivation
- Powder coating and painting
- Laser marking and engraving of logos / part numbers
- Threaded inserts and assembly of sub-components
